Import Interface

Flexible Import Interface

The flexible Helix import interface can query, process and import any data in a wide variety of formats from a wide variety of sources into Helix – from simple manual file imports through automated file transfers to REST APIs and real-time communication.
Many possible sources From simple manual file uploads to automated retrieval from file servers (e.g. via SFTP) to receiving POST requests and querying REST or SOAP APIs – there are no limits when integrating company data.
Flexible parsers In the freely configurable parser phase, different sources in different formats (text, CSV, Excel, XML, JSON, …) can be read – triggered manually, automated at regular intervals or initiated via webhook for real-time updates.
Flexible transformers Through any number of configurable transformer steps, data can be converted into the Helix data structure regardless of what structure it comes in.
Flexible persisters The freely transformed data can be imported into all available Helix objects and fields, with rules for creation, updating and deletion freely defined.
Provision via the Helix API All imports can be made available on the Helix API to automatically read data from other applications or allow other applications to write data to Helix.
Streaming transfer Through streaming data transfer, even very large amounts of data can be queried and processed.
Many pre-configured imports Pre-configured imports exist for all important objects, making both a migration of legacy data and regular updates straightforward.

Export Interface

Flexible Views and Export Interface

With flexible Helix views, you can put together any lists in just a few clicks, share them across the organisation and export them for use in any application – not just as a file, but also as a web interface.
Flexible columns Every field from every object can be shown as a column in a list, arranged and sorted as desired.
Flexible filters Filtering is possible by every field and data format, including relative filters based on the current account or current date.
Grouping, aggregation and pivot view Grouping is possible by any column, with hierarchical grouping and multiple grouping supported. Grouped views can be switched to compact pivot grids.
Export as Excel and CSV Views can be saved, shared and exported as Excel or CSV at any time – for further processing or import into any other application.
Provision via the Helix API Each view can not only be exported as a file but also provided as an API endpoint in JSON format or transmitted in different formats via POST request to external interfaces.
Authorisation To secure endpoints, common standards such as Basic Access Authentication, Public/Private Keys, OAuth, Bearer Token, JWT and IP blocking can be used.
Delta imports and deleted objects Changes to all objects are logged without gaps. This allows a delta to be requested from any endpoint by specifying a timestamp, massively reducing transfer overhead.
Many pre-configured views and APIs Pre-configured views and APIs exist for all important objects, making data retrieval straightforward without any additional effort.
