Zukunft Personal Europe 2026: Our recap from Cologne

Three days of Zukunft Personal Europe 2026, plenty of good conversations, fresh ideas and a lot of team spirit: we are back from Cologne — with a great many impressions in our luggage.

For us at Perbility, Zukunft Personal Europe is more than just an HR trade fair every year. Above all, it is a place for exchange: with customers, partners, long-standing companions and people who want to rethink HR just as we do.

And 2026 showed it once again: the best conversations happen where people talk openly with each other, share their experiences and sometimes ask the more difficult follow-up question.

Of course, the fair was about new technologies, HR trends and software solutions. But what we remember most is our team.

Because a strong trade fair appearance does not come from a beautiful stand or a good presentation alone. What matters are the people behind it.

For three days it became visible what makes Perbility what it is: pitching in together, taking responsibility, sharing knowledge and entering conversations with genuine enthusiasm.

Expertise and professionalism are as much a part of that for us as openness, humour and an easy-going way of working together.

And that is not something we only want to show at a trade fair. It is also how we work with our customers and partners.

AI in HR: The hype is becoming concrete

Hardly any topic was as present at Zukunft Personal Europe 2026 as artificial intelligence.

At the same time, we had the impression that the conversations have changed. The initial excitement about new possibilities has long since given way to a much more concrete discussion.

Companies want to know: where does AI genuinely help in everyday HR work? Which tasks can it meaningfully support? How transparent and comprehensible are the results? And how can AI be used so that it actually improves processes?

These are exactly the questions we find interesting.

Because technology should never be an end in itself. It has to work in everyday practice and create genuine value.

HR software that makes work easier

Our solutions are designed to support HR processes end to end and to relieve teams where a lot of time is still lost today on manual tasks, coordination or recurring work steps.

AI plays an important role in this too — but not because it happens to be everywhere right now.

What is decisive for us is that it is used meaningfully: comprehensibly, reliably and wherever it creates genuine added value.

The conversations at Zukunft Personal Europe confirmed that many HR leaders are now looking closely as well. What is in demand are solutions that not only look good in a demo, but prove themselves in everyday work.

Personal conversations still matter

Amid all the discussions about digitalization and AI, one thing became very clear again at Zukunft Personal Europe 2026: personal exchange cannot be replaced.

We met familiar faces again, deepened existing contacts and got to know many new people.

It is precisely these conversations that make a trade fair valuable for us. They give us direct feedback, new perspectives and often food for thought that reaches far beyond the day of the fair itself.
